RE-POST: John James - Morning Brings The Light 1970

b. Wales. This guitarist is very well regarded, but lacks the high profile afforded to other, less talented, guitar players. His style defies categorization, as he plays through jazz, folk and blues forms with equal ease. His first release, 1970’s Morning Brings The Light, for Transatlantic Records, highlighted his exceptional ability. Despite much television work, and tours with Eddie Walker as the duo Carolina Shout, James remains largely unknown to the British public. He has also recorded soundtrack music for television. AMG.
