Isle of Wight Sunday 30th August

Isle of Wight, last day, and a mark in rock history was born and never forgotten! It started with an accoustic duo Good News, and wasn't able to found any information about it, and after Kris Kristofferson second set, Ralph McTell, Heaven, Free, Donovan, Pentangle, The Moody Blues, Jethro Tull, Jimi Hendrix, Joan Baez, Leonard Cohen and as closing act Richie Havens!
I hope you enjoyed travelling in time.

Enjoy!

"I made it through 3 years of college until my old friend, cellist Larry Gold, asked me to join his group “Good News” as singer and guitarist. I moved back to Philadelphia and soon we were signed to Columbia Records and touring all over the country. One of our last gigs was the Third Isle of Wight Festival in 1970 where we performed in front of 250,000 cranky hippies."
