Although Jeremy & the Satyrs' album was unusual for its time; its early jazz-rock fusion, with bits of soul and blues, was better on paper than in execution. The vocal numbers usually had pedestrian soul-rock bases, not aided by the hoarse singing (uncredited on the sleeve). There were also instrumental pieces; at times, about the only thing separating this from run-of-the-mill blues-rock or soul-rock was the very jazzy flute. AMG.
