New Orleans born keyboardist/vocalist Ronald Raymond Barrosse aka Ronnie Barron released a handful of solo material while playing the clubs, & then from 1971 to 1988 also worked on recordings with a number of renowned artists, including Paul Butterfield, Tony Joe White, Redbone, Gene Clark, Ry Cooder, Dr. John, John Mayall, B.B. King, Kim Carnes, John Lee Hooker, Canned Heat, Tom Waits and Eric Burdon. In 1988 he appeared as a bartender in the Steven Seagal film "Above The Law". Unfortunately, Barron died of heart trouble in 1997.
